Summoning agents
The meeting host can bring other employees in when the conversation needs them.
Last updated: May 5, 2026
How summoning works
- You ask the host for the department you need, or the host decides someone else should help.
- The host summons that employee with a short reason.
- The agent receives the meeting transcript so far, joins the same room, and speaks next.
- The dashboard shows the agent joining and updates the active speaker.
- The host keeps moderating and takes the floor back when they are done.
Who can be invited
The host can invite any employee assigned to the project, from any department. The host is already present on the call.
Human guests are not invited through agent summoning. They must already have project access to join the meeting room.
Limits
- Default limit: 1 customer plus up to 5 agents.
- Only the host summons new agents in Phase 15.
- Summoning can be blocked if the project budget cannot cover the added voice cost.
- Dedicated tenants may have custom participant limits.
Canvas handoff
A summoned agent can present on the shared canvas when the host gives it the presenter department. Someone from Engineering may walk through the architecture; someone from Design may review a layout.
