Meeting cost is metered as the room runs, then settled when the meeting ends. You can see the final total in the dashboard and recap email.

When metering starts and stops
- A meeting that never becomes active does not bill meeting runtime.
- Metering starts when the meeting is live.
- Metering stops when the meeting ends, times out, or is ended by a budget cap.
- Summoned agents add cost only from the time they join.
What is metered
HiveClaw records meeting cost in small events so short calls and mid-meeting agent joins are billed accurately.
- Voice room time by participant.
- Speech-to-text for your audio.
- Text-to-speech for agent voices.
- Model inference used by agents during the meeting.
If your plan itemizes recording storage, that appears as project storage cost. It is not hidden inside participant time.
Budget controls
- Meetings check project budget before starting.
- Each meeting has a duration limit and a hard cost cap.
- If the project meeting budget is exhausted, new meetings are blocked.
- If an active meeting hits its hard cap, HiveClaw ends it and still sends a recap.
Where to see cost
Meeting spend appears in your project budget view as meeting cost. After finalization, the recap email also includes the total cost for that meeting.
Priority is shown to customers as Priority. In exports, webhooks, and billing metadata, its tier key is priority.
